When it comes to capturing your micro wedding on the water, we work exclusively with experienced photographers who specialize in small, intimate ceremonies. Not only do they shoot weddings regularly, but they also understand how to work with natural light, outdoor conditions, and the ever-changing scenery of Puget Sound. Most importantly, they know how to photograph on the water—whether the boat docks or moves underway.
Because photographing on a boat brings unique challenges, we work only with photographers whom Captain Doug has personally trained. These professionals know the vessel’s layout, move safely during the ceremony, and position themselves to capture the best angles. As a result, you’ll enjoy a seamless experience, and your photos will showcase the beauty of your special day from every perspective.
Before making your selection, we encourage you to browse each photographer’s website and review their portfolio. Every artist has a unique style, and seeing their work in advance can help you decide what resonates with you most. However, it’s important to first book your wedding date with us. After you reserve your date, we will coordinate directly with the available photographer to match your schedule and preferences. While we understand you may request someone specific, availability can vary—especially during peak seasons.
Our photographers get very busy. It is best to book your wedding as far in advance as possible.
Since our photographers stay busy throughout the year, we highly recommend booking well in advance. This not only ensures smoother coordination, but it also increases the chances of securing your preferred photographer.
